Maranatha – Medjugorje

INTERNATIONAL ECUMENICAL MOVEMENT OF PRAYER FOR HEALING OF MANKIND BY DIVINE MERCY

Maranatha, Aramaic: Come, Lord! (Rev.22, 20)

Mgr André-Joseph LEONARD
Archbishop Emeritus of Malines-Bruxelles, Belgium, founder of Maranatha-Conversion
Sabrina COVIC RADOJICIC
Co-founder of Maranatha-Conversion

A classic «Maranathon» pilgrimage:

«Maranathons» pilgrimages are precious times of prayer and fasting for the healing of the human heart and the healing of the world.

During the «Maranathons», pilgrimages, the morning of the 5th of the month is spent on the hill of apparitions and the morning of the 6th of the month on the hill of Krizevac, hill of the cross.

The rest of the program is adapted according to these two days and includes the elements indicated in the program proposed below, for information only.

Remark: the 5th and 6th of the month are “prayer and fasting” days in all the Maranathons of the world and therefore the lunch, as Our Lady asks in Medjugorje, is on bread and water. And if it is not a Wednesday or Friday, a normal meal is served in the evening.

«The “Maranatha Conversion” Pilgrimage
Faith Converts»

From Saturday 22 to Saturday 29 February 2020

Among believers there is a category apart, those one refers to as “converts”.
They have gone from atheism, indifference, or from some other spiritual tradition to Christianity. But why?
What were their motivations?
Their hopes and expectations?
The converts all speak of THE personal encounter that has profoundly changed their lives.
Often, the way towards it has not been easy.
And for those who have left Christianity for another religion, what were their disappointments, their expectations?
In today’s world of spiritual decline, how can “converts” help the Church rebuild itself and rediscover its beauty?
In Medjugorje, as in all places where She has appeared, the Virgin Mary calls us to a Christian conversion. This is Her main message.
The conversion of each and every one of us is a prerequisite in the process of helping to change the world towards the good and of committing oneself to the good.

Who is this event for? All of us, whether already converted or not. We are all at different stages on the path to conversion, we all need to be encouraged, inspired.

Speakers: Converts, theologians, lay people who accompany people in their preparation to baptism…

Whoever you are, if the theme “Prayer for the healing of humanity, prayer for the healing of mankind’s heart ” is enticing to you, come join us!

Join us for moments of intense prayer – and also of fasting – for the healing of humanity and of mankind’s heart.
There will be time for exchanges between men and women with different religious backgrounds, who are committed to peace. They will tell us how they are striving for it, how we could reach them in their efforts, and perhaps help them.
Come and discover the major spiritual destinations of Bosnia and Herzegovina: Medjugorje, Mostar, Sarajevo…
Come and spend an intense day in the heart of Sarajevo/Bosnia, where World War I began in 1914 and where World Peace I could start…

If, together, we all hit the road,
If we refuse to admit defeat from the outset,
If we decide that from now on,
we will partner with Heaven for a better world,
Everything will become possible.

Nothing is impossible to God and He listens to our prayers.
If we are many, if our hearts are united in the same process of Prayer
and of fasting, for the sake of peace, for the healing of humanity and of mankind’s heart,
If we humbly put our lives in the hands of the Lord,
We can be certain that God will hear us,
That he will fulfill our prayers…

In Pontmain, France, in 1871, the Virgin Mary said: “Oh! Do pray my children God will answer you very soon! My Son lets his heart be touched!”
